About the role
Are you a driven application manager With a passion for technology and service orientation? As a point of contact, you manage applications in production and development environments. You keep an eye on issues, implement changes and support implementations in microservice architectures.
Job description & duties
- Application management & monitoring: Issue and change management, management of the OpenShift environment and configuration of microservices
- Incident troubleshooting: Complex integration landscapes (API Gateway, ESB, AMQ, REST/SOAP, FTP, XML, WSDL)
- SQL Server DBA tasks: Backups, performance tuning and query optimisation
- Release & deployment support: Kubernetes, OpenShift
- Collaboration: Working with development teams within SOA and microservices architectures
- Documentation: Record systems, procedures and incident reports
- Proactive improvements: Thinking along on optimisations in tooling and processes (ELK, JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams)
Your profile
- Strong analytical ability and solution-oriented mindset
- Hands-on mentality and pragmatic attitude
- Experience with application management in complex environments
- Technical knowledge of and experience with:
- SQL Server (DBA)
- STD- and microservices-architectures
- Kubernetes and/or OpenShift
- Java, Quarkus and/or .NET
- ELK-stack
- JIRA, Confluence & Microsoft Teams
